Alan Reay Consultants is always conscious of the need to encourage and develop young engineers early in their careers. This year we are looking to employ graduate students and give them the opportunity to embark on a career in one of the most exciting industries in the world.

 

We are looking for graduates with a passion for structural engineering that display good skills both in theory and common sense. We aim to teach you the skills for engineering in the ‘real world’ and put you in a position to gain professional accreditation.

 

The type of person who would suit this position best is someone who, not only has a passion for structural engineering, but has interests outside their profession who can mix well within our team environment. It is also preferable that you are strongly career focused with goals for the future in mind.

Summer Interns

 

Each summer there is a chance for students who are in either their first or second professional years at university to join our team and get some practical experience working in a structural design firm. There will be the opportunity to work with the engineers and be involved in some limited design work.

 

This is a great opportunity, not only to fulfil practical work obligations, but also to get some experience of what life is like in a real design firm.
